SADONI is becoming VITVEIS - a new name, a lighter collection..

About VITVEIS Bridal · · ·

We make wedding clothes in pieces, so you can put them together yourself.

Lace tops. Skirts in silk, mikado and floral tulle. A few minimalist dresses for the bride who wants one thing to slip into. Veils, if you want one.

How it works

Choose a top. Choose a skirt. That's the whole idea.

A high-necked lace top over a slim silk skirt is one bride. The same top over a full tulle skirt is a completely different one. Nothing here arrives as a set, so nothing here has already decided who you are.

Some brides come knowing exactly what they want. Some try eleven combinations and leave with the first one. Both are fine - that is what the showroom is for.

Wear it again

This is the part I care most about.

A wedding dress spends one day being looked at and the rest of its life in a box. A silk or lace top doesn't. Wear it with jeans. Wear the skirt with a black top and black shoes and you have somewhere to be on a Friday.

I would rather make you two things you'll keep than one thing you'll store.

How it is made

Everything is cut and sewn in our atelier in Riga - the same room, the same women, the same silks and laces I have worked with for years. Nothing is made until you order it, so nothing is made that nobody wanted.

Most pieces are designed to fit without alteration, and a top or a skirt is simple to adjust. If you would like yours made to your measurements, that can be added.

Where to find us

A small showroom in Oslo, by appointment. Pop-ups in other cities through the year. A few selected retailers. And here, wherever you are.

What I believe

That you should look like yourself on your wedding day.

That simple isn't the same as plain.

That clothes you'll wear again are worth more than clothes you'll keep.

That you should know who made what you're wearing.

That a wedding is not a performance, it is something intimate.
